Sara is a writer, actor, producer, and entrepreneur with a rich background in both business and the arts. The years she spent scaling over 15 different companies combined with her experience both in front of and behind the camera lends her unique insight into successful film production, marketing, and branding.
Maria Prieto
Head of Creative
Born in Mexico City, Maria developed a passion for storytelling from an early age. After attending film school at Chapman, she worked as a director’s assistant on several TV series and films, allowing her to hone in on her personal style before directing her own award-winning short and long-form narrative films.
Lily Darragh Harty
Head of Production
Lily's acclaimed short films, collaborations with auteur directors in commercial work, and tenure as a Health & Safety Manager at major studios like ABC, FX, and MGM showcase her expertise in creative filmmaking and production logistics which she brings to every project built through Purple Cactus.
